3.5 ★'s Dylan and Evie became neighbors when they were in the first grade and shared most of their best memories together. They became best friends and were always there for each other. They're older now and their feelings are deeper...they both just need to take the next step. Basically, I'm going to say that this book was really sweet. I enjoyed how much Dylan and Evie cared for each other and their memories were pretty amazing even though they both had some rough experiences. My main problem is that it felt very l-o-n-g and it took a long time for things to progress. Thank goodness, we got both their POVs...that definitely helped to keep my interest. They have some great friends and family that are loving and supportive. Grandma Molly was my favorite! Both Evie's sister, Roxy, and Dylan's brother, Jordan, were wonderful as well but their friends Nora and Braden cracked me up. I especially loved how everything worked out. When things do get going, they really take off. There's some crazy drama that turns into something even worse. Sheeshhh...can't these two catch a break? It's kind of hard to read but I enjoyed all the things and people that prompted them through it. The steam factor is pretty good too...but just when things were getting good that big mess happened and threw things for a loop. Still good stuff though. The epilogue was great and of course, I'm always left wanting more. Since it's a standalone, I was happy that Dylan and Evie weren't the one ones with a promising future.Favorite quotes:♥ "She’s my anchor. My hope. My heart. She’s everything to me."♥ “And then she kissed him,” he murmurs, “and all manner of thought left his head. It was a kiss he had dreamed about, but it was a thousand times better than his dreams. And he was ruined in all the best ways… and he’d never be the same again.”♥ "You make my heart sing, Evie. Always."♥ "Without you, there is no dream."♥ "It took a village for me to see the clearing past the trees."

Beth has done is again. I loved, loved, loved, For the Love of Raindrops. Dylan and Evie are best friends. They have known each other ever since Evie moved in next door to Dylan when they were kids.Dylan and Evie have not only become friends they have pretty much become family also. They have helped each other through some difficult times and their friendship has done nothing but blossom to the point that they know each other very well. What I loved most about this is that Beth builds their relationship from the best friends to lovers and it is a slow build. Nothing is rushed.‘She’s my anchor. My hope. My heart. She’s everything to me.’Dylan and Evie are characters you will fall in love with. I was cheering for them throughout the whole book. You just knew they were meant to be together. Their love for each other once it is discovered is amazing and so true. Although Dylan did not have the best upbringing he makes the best of things no matter what. He puts his own dreams on hold to help his brother with the family business. Dylan and Jordan’s bond is unlike anything I have ever seen and they stick together through it all no matter what. Evie and her sister also have a bond unlike anything else and they stick together through all the bad, never turning their backs on each other. Beth gives us a best friends to lovers story that is true to the heart. Something you do not see every day. These characters are cute, funny, special, caring, and love like no other’s. The story flows amazingly, it will have you cheering for these two from the first few pages.Definitely grab this one up and find out for yourself all there is to know about Dylan and Evie!!!!

A very lovely story about friendship, love, lost and courage ...First half of the book was cute and sweet, but the second half was tough and heartbreaking ...Overall I enjoyed it ... "Tell me what you see?""I see infinite possibility.""What do you see?" she whispers."You. Only you."

Sometimes, when I finish a book I need to take the time to process it. It can take me days to get my thoughts straight and write a review. Not this book though... No, I finished For the Love of Raindrops about 15 minutes ago, and I'm good. I know what I think and what I want to say. It's pretty simple really. I loved this book.Dylan and Evie are best friends, and have been since they were kids. But Dylan doesn't just love Evie as a friend; he loves her and wants to give back what she's given to him. Everything. I could give you more about this book, but I don't want to and I don't need to. I don't want to spoil it for you, because this book, which artfully gives glimpses of Evie and Dylan then and now, is simply wonderful. I couldn't help but fall for these characters -- Dylan, who is kind, loving and sweet, and perhaps a little broken; and Evie, who is stubborn, brave and strong, and also maybe a little bit broken. Beth Michele made them more than likable, she made them lovable and that is the gift of this book. Dylan isn't a typical demanding, commanding, domineering male, just as Evie isn't a simpering, whimpering, submissive female. They complement each other and they feel real. They have their strengths and their weaknesses, but they read like actual human beings, not fictional fantasies. I wanted to take them under my wing, hug them, hang with them, take care of them. But most of all, I wanted them to find their everything in each other. Ms. Michele brought me to tears with For the Love of Raindrops. The story flowed beautifully. It was raw and poetic, and had me swallowing back the lump in my throat that accompanied the gentle tears that leaked from my eyes. There really wasn't a single thing about this book that I didn't adore. The secondary characters were excellent, adding to the story of Dylan and Evie, but never stealing their focus. The best friends-to-lovers storyline was crafted beautifully, paced perfectly and smokin' hot. And, for those that judge on these things (like me), the cover and title were on point too. For the Love of Raindrops is a standalone book with no cliffhanger, but damn it, I think these two have more story to tell, as do some of their wonderful friends and family. And I want to read those books, and as well as anything else Ms. Michele cares to write. It's that simple. ~ Beth, 5 stars

For the Love of Raindrops by Beth Michele 4 stars!!“Little did she know, I’d give her the sun, the moon, even the stars. All she had to do was ask.”This was a really cute, romantic read, I love a friends to lover’s story and this one ticks all the boxes. This book, spans their life from when they were childhood friends until adulthood so we are treated to how they met, how they became friends, how strong their friendship was and how the lines began to blur. “I see infinite possibility.”I have to say that Dylan made this book for me; it is rare that you find a perfect character and for me, he was just that. Having never been loved by his parents and always having that feeling of no self-worth, Dylan could have let it define him, but he didn’t. He hasn’t walked away without any scars by any means, but because of his brother and his Nan and especially Evie, Dylan made it and he became a beautiful man of the inside and out. He wasn’t the typical man you read about these days; he was calm, thoughtful, passionate, protective, kind and selfless. This by no means made him a wimp, but he wore his heart on his sleeve yet still maintained his man card.“You make me glad that I was born.”Evie was the opposite of Dylan, yet they complemented each other, she was strong and stubborn but her weakness was Dylan. She had her own fair share of heart break and still wore the emotional scars, but Evie and Dylan together were survivors and they had always been there for each other through thick and thin and this was one friendship that would forever stand the test of time.“It’s funny how no one wanted to pay me attention to me when I was a weed, but once I started becoming a flower, they all wanted to stop and take a whiff.”Dylan has loved Evie for what seems like forever; well it has been, but that all encompassing love hit him like a freight train. Dylan was always afraid to let his feelings be known in fear of destroying the friendship that they had, he couldn’t live without her so was willing to have her in whatever relationship he could. With words of wisdom from his Nan and brother Dylan decides it is time to make his move, and it is his time to woo, and boy can this man woo.“Sometimes life doesn’t give us a second chance.”This was a beautifully crafted story and one that tugs on your heart strings. I will admit a few tears were shed but they were in amongst a lot of swooning too. Their relationship was real; you felt their connection from the start. Their friendship was so strong and would be an incredibly amazing foundation for anything more. They were normal people and typical boy next door, no millionaires, no alphas just pure friendship and chemistry that rocked the pages. I lived with them growing up, I lived with them as teenagers and I lived with them as adults and you just couldn’t help but become emotionally invested in their life story. It was beautiful, it was emotional but most of all, it was real.“So, what did you feel?”“Everything, Dylan.”This is a standalone but I would love to know more about this couple going forward and with a plethora of interesting characters that appeared in this book, I would like to see a few of them have their own stories too, they are all intriguing in their own way and all had their part to play in this amazing story.“…but sometimes you’re my smile, and you’ve always been my heart. You’ve carried me my whole life…”This is my first book by Beth Michele but it certainly won’t be my last.“He kissed her…with the breath of a thousand lives, because that’s how long he’d loved her…”“And she kissed him right back, because she’d loved him just as long.”www.theromancecover.com

Items ticked off: 17I know I tend to accuse New Adult as a genre to be boring. It might be an unfair accusation, but since reading it subjective, that's my take on New Adult so far. This genre is full of so many tropes, recycled plots, and I tend to feel that I'm reading the same story over and over again. And trust me when I say repetition can bore the hell out of me. (Yes, I'm also aware of the irony since many of my NA-reviews tend to be repetitive, but that's because all the NA books are.) But the boredom that (several) NA books induce in me is due to the sheer predictability of the books. That, however, is not the reason For the Love of Raindrops is placed on my boring-shelf.Going back to check my comments/updates I wrote while reading For the Love of Raindrops, I find this one at 42%: 42% in and all we have so far is Dylan pining/obsessing over Evie any chance he gets. I swear, if he'd go to the toilet, he'd be making it about Evie somehow. I stand by writing that. Quite literately the first 42% is all about Dylan pining for Evie. And it's not subtle either. There are endless paragraphs and chapters where all we get to read about is how badly Dylan wants his best friend. I love a good friends to lovers romance, but what I don't like is to be told for almost half of the story just how badly he/she wants the other. That's what you get from this book.My other updates commented on how little showing there is, and very much telling. When the plot picks up by an unexpected event and our main characters are in some dire situation, I just wished for it to be over. Despite the event causing consequences that affect the characters greatly, I never connected to either of them. Sure, a few of the moments from their childhood did make me smile, but it was never enough for me to form any kind of attachment to either of them. Really, more or less all of this could be solved by another round of editing. Cut out Dylan's thoughts a bit when it comes to Evie, make him less obsessed and more interested would've made it better. Cut down parts of the beginning to get the story moving. Focus more on their relationship apart from Dylan's overwhelming attraction to Evie and I probably would have really liked this book. |BookLikes | Leafmarks

Rating: 3.5 Stars“That’s not the kind of love you push away. That’s the kind of love you embrace.”This really was a sweet friends to lovers’ story that showed us how the heart can survive as well as love through extremes of happiness and heartbreak.‘I thought I knew what pain was, but I was wrong. This is the worst kind of pain.’Dylan and Evie had been best friends for many years. They’d reveled in one another’s triumphs and supported each other through the most heartbreaking life situations growing up. Their friendship had celebrated the best and endured through the worst.‘She’s my anchor. My hope. My heart. She’s everything to me.’Dylan was a beautiful character. If you ever wanted a guy on your side, he was it. Dylan completely stole our hearts. He hadn’t had the best start in life but despite that he was loyal, unselfish and utterly devoted to his loved ones. Dylan had forgone his hopes and dreams to support his brother in running the family Diner, despite having aspirations of his own. Dylan and Jordan’s relationship was one of the highlights for us. These brothers really did share a special bond that was wonderful and moving to witness.Dylan was such a romantic and there were many touches the author added to his personality that only emphasized our feelings towards him. He elicited quite a few heartfelt sighs from us that’s for sure throughout this story.“Can’t you see? This is me, fighting for you. Fighting for us……”We did enjoy For The Love of Raindrops but sadly it didn’t afford us the heart wrenching emotion we had hoped from such a romantic and tragic story. The reason being that we didn’t really connect to Evie’s character, rather we found her a little one dimensional. We felt as though we knew Dylan personally, and even Nora and Jordan for that matter yet we needed to know Evie on a deeper level which we didn’t experience, despite having her POV every now and then. We found her a little bland which meant that the emotion we should’ve felt was diminished because of that. The supporting characters in this story were fabulous. From Gran through to Nora, each brought a little something extra to the story. We did feel that For the Love of Raindrops was a tad cheesy in parts, however, there’s no denying that it was a sweet and tender story with some truly beautiful moments.“You make my heart sing, Evie. Always have.”There were passages that had us welling up and the beautiful, sincere moments the author added to Dylan’s character melted our hearts. If you’re a hopeless romantic, then this book will have you swooning .❈ ❈ ❈✦✦✦ TB Blog :TotallybookedBlog✦✦✦ Come say Hi : TB on Facebook✦✦✦Follow us: TB on Twitter✦✦✦Check out: TB on Pinterest✦✦✦ We're on TSU: TB on TSU

Spoiler-free reviewTitle: For the Love of Raindrops Author: Beth MicheleRelease Date: April 6, 2015Rating: 5 stars Dylan and Evie are the best of friends. They grew up together and experienced everything from eating worms to breaking bones, along with plenty of laughs and unfortunate sadness. Through the good and bad times, memories were made. No matter what, they were always there for one another. Unbeknownst to each other the other, the two friends have always been attracted to each other. Dylan finally decides to risk their friendship and tell Evie how he feels about her. One night will change everything. How does something so good turn so bad? For the Love of Raindrops is a passionate, friends to lovers story that spans 20-plus years. Evie and Dylan’s story is a perfect mix of three of my favorite genres – Coming of Age, New Adult, and Young Adult. I fell in love with both of these characters while reading about them falling in love. This story pulled on my heart strings and didn’t let go. I shed some big ugly tears while reading this book. FTLOR was jam packed with emotion. Beth knocked it out of the park with this bittersweet story of friendship, courage, heartfelt devotion and tragedy. I have read and loved all of Beth’s books and For the Love of Raindrops might be my favorite. I received For the Love of Raindrops as an ARC from the author, Beth Michele, and I absolutely LOVED it. This story spans the relationship of Dylan and Evie starting when they were 6 years old. As the reader we go back in time (with flashbacks) with the characters, reliving certain moments, giving them so much more depth and allowing the reader to fall in love with them as we watch them fall in love. You feel and can relate to all of their emotions that they have for one another. It's when their love is put to the test that we are reminded what true love really is. If you are looking for a feel good love story that will make you laugh, cry and even *sigh* a little, look no further. Watching childhood best friends fall in love was beautiful! I am so happy that I went into this book with no expectations. I literally had no idea what the story was about. This story had me from the beginning and didn't let go...I breezed right through and before I knew it, it was over. The title for this book is perfect!!! You will see why when you read it.Give this one a shot - it comes out on April 6th.5 out of 5 stars

I love me a good friends-to-lovers romance, and Beth Michele writes one that leaves you unable to do anything but smile. That’s not to say there aren’t a few frowns, nervous glances, and frustrated groans along the way. This was my first Beth Michele novel. I didn’t know anything about her writing style, and didn’t know much about her previous work before going into this story. The synopsis piqued my interest, and that alone convinced me that I needed to read this book.I was not disappointed. Michele delivers a fresh, contemporary take on a classic story that, for me, was more than a simple love story between two lifelong friends. For The Love of Raindrops is a multi-dimensional love story, highlighting the importance of THE ONE, but also recognizing the importance of family, both the one you’re born into, and the family you create around yourself.Evie and Dylan’s story is perfectly paced, all of the pieces falling into place without their romance seeming forced or artificial. There was definitely some nervous tension on my part, and I will admit to a giddy sigh of relief once the couple FINALLY got together!I really loved these characters. They had been through so much in their young lives, and you really want, no, you NEED, them to be together and happy forever and ever. Theirs isn’t an easy journey, but the best love stories never are.

Wow! What a beautiful emotional story.!! Dylan and Evie have been best friends since they were little. They have been through everything together. My heart broke for Dylan because of how his father treated him and all he has is his older brother and Evie. I loved how we got flashbacks of their childhood..it was so sweet seeing how much they meant to each other. we know that Evie lost her parents when she was in high school and all she has is her older sister. Through all the years, Dylan has fallen in love with Evie..everyone sees it, but he never tells her. He was so insecure that he wouldn't be good enough for her..I just wanted to give him a hug. Evie has been having feelings for him too...but they are both stuck in limbo..not wanting to ruin what they have. There were times I wanted to shake the both of them. They just needed to talk. lol. I loved the supporting characters as well. Dylan's brother, as well as his friend...Evie's friend and a nice therapist we meet later on. You will love this story. we are taken on a journey of best friends growing up experiencing so much throughout their years. you'll laugh and cry...my heart broke and was put back together. that's how amazing this story was. you need to experience it for yourself.I've been a fan of Beth's since the beginning and I am looking forward to see what she has for us next. Add this to tbr list today!

Beth MicheleI received an ARC for honest review. In short - I LOVED IT!This story was breathtaking and beautiful. I have loved every story I have read by Beth Michele but this story - WOW! Bravo! This one has taken up residence in my heart. Thank you Beth Michele for sharing your talent and giving us this beautiful, sweet love story. Ok lets get into it. The storyline goes something like this... boy and girl are best friends, boy and girl grow up together, boy loves girl, girl loves boys, life happens, a lot of life happens and the rest of the story is something that you must read and experience for yourself. For the Love of Raindrops was beautifully written. The characters were real and bold and so very full of life. I would love to see stories written for several of the supporting characters. (hint, hint) Seriously though, Please, Please, Please read For the Love of Raindrops you will not be disappointed. This story is sure to leave its mark on your heart like it has mine. Happy Reading!

This is a book about hope, love, loss and realizing that oftentimes there are people in worse situations than we are.The story of Dylan and Evie began when they were very small children. They started out as neighbors, who quickly became best friends. Over the years they were there for one another as both went through joys, unspeakable losses and all the pitfalls of growing up. All along, Dylan was falling in love with the girl who he calls "Hopper" but he was afraid to tell her for fear she wouldn't feel the same and he'd lose her.As they got older, Evie decided it was time to take a chance on the boy who she couldn't see her life without. After declaring their feelings for one another, the friends began to navigate their relationship as a couple, learning just how much better things could be.When they are faced once again with a life changing event, these two must dig deep to remember what is most important and they have to fight like crazy to keep their love that is growing deeper by the day from becoming a casualty of terrible circumstances. This was my first Beth Michele book, but it will not be my last. It was full of emotion, heart and so much love.

Words cannot describe how beautiful this story was. This novel spans all ages from starting to coming of age all the way up to new adult genre. I have read most of Beth's books and loved each of them in their own way because that is what she does, bring something different each time! I giggled, I cried with snot running down my face (thanks Beth), my heart fluttered, and then it shattered and mended again! I love a best friend romance but I always look forward to twists that will will pull at your emotions as well. I fell in love with Dylan and Evie's story and was pulled in from the start. This one is by far my favorite and cannot wait for you to read it as well!

This had a very slow start and I almost gave up. The beginning is told from Dylan's POV and his male voice didn't always come across. Once Evie's POV is added the story picked up. It has a dark and depressing feel to it. Too many parental deaths etc. Then more tragedy. A lot of depressing stuff for 19 year olds. It was ok and even though it has a happy ending it didn't leave me with a good feeling.

A friends to lovers book .. was very light at the beginning of this book , just simply day to day being great friends while he's trying hard to express his feelings for her ..... Than , when everything is going so good ,, BIG DRAMA HAPPENS .... Loved it more from 60% onwards .. couldn't put it down ..it was tough , and liked how it ended ... overall I really enjoyed it ..

I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.Do you hear that? That’s my heart still beating over this story. DAYS later. It made my heart beat. It made my heart flutter. I had ALL THE FEELS. ALL OF THEM. “He wanted her in a way he’d never wanted anyone before, his heart only knowing how to beat when she was beside him.”For The Love Of Raindrops is not your average friends to lover story. Most stories tell you how friends became lovers. However, in this story you live their journey from best friends to lovers and beyond. You see the good, the bad. The ups and downs within their lives. How much they rely on each other. Through everything. They are deeply connected through friendship, but their love is always constant. You do not read their story. You are simply placed within it.“I’ll follow the stars, Dylan...as long as they lead me to you.”Dylan has always loved Evie. And he never tells you his love, he allows you as the reader to feel it. Feel his desire and want for the girl who is supposed to be his best friend. The girl he loves more than life itself. His love for her is consuming, raw, and never falters. Evie loved Dylan beyond reason. But with a deep rooted friendship, these two are absolutely terrified to destroy what they have. For they both know what they have is special and something they can never possibly share with another person. But the heart doesn’t listen. The heart knows what it wants.“I’m not sure I have ever touched anyone, then. Because touching someone has never made me feel this way before.”When Dylan and Evie admit their true feelings, it’s magical, overwhelming, and breathtaking. Dylan? He absolutely stole my heart. He bares his heart and soul. He loves with conviction. With heart. Dylan’s love for Evie is powerful and his words will claim you . You feel his heartbeat when he’s around Evie. His love for her has no end and his soul is forever bound to hers. And when tragedy strikes? They love even harder. They realize that despite what life throws at them, their love can get them through anything. For their love overcomes. Their love conquers.“I saw your soul that rainy Saturday...I was drawn to it as if by some invisible thread. And the heart that I thought was dying...came alive.”I know I have mentioned that this goes beyond the average friends to lovers story. And I stand by that. This story is TRUE romance. The kind where you just FEEL. The words, the emotions. Everything. This story is brilliantly written. The author seamlessly crafts a story where you the reader are immersed in the lives of the characters and you will find that you may never want to leave. “Close your eyes, because I’m about to kiss you, and I want to know what you feel when I do.”The writing in this story is beautiful, moving. We are given the story in dual POV. The words in this story gave me life. My emotions were completely invested in the characters and their story. The declaration of love between Dylan and Evie encompasses everything a love story should and more. Your heart. It is always the first to know. And Dylan’s heart immediately recognized Evie’s the moment he was in her presence. His heart felt hers.“You stretch my soul, Evie. You make me want to do better, reach higher. You’re the bravest person I know and I’m in awe of you.”For The Love Of Raindrops is a story that will stay with me for a long time to come. The love felt in this story is unlike anything you will ever read about. Ever. Their love surpasses everything. Every obstacle. Every boundary that you could think of. Their love always wins. If you are a fan of friends to lovers story, there’s no question that you have to read this book. And if you aren’t? I guaranteed you will be as soon as you read this one. And then you will wonder why haven’t you ever read this kind of story. For it makes you believe in the power of love and all it is capable of. This story is beautiful and full of hope. This story absolutely moved me.

"But she has everything. She is everything. And I have nothing to offer her. Except my heart."For the Love of Raindrops is a story about two friends who met in their childhood at the age of six and spans until adulthood. You will see how they met, how they became friends, how strong of a bond was built between the two. The two will be tested time and time again, at such a young age they both experience tragedy. I absolutely loved this story my emotions were all over the place with this book, it made me laugh, cry, and pissed off all rolled into one little ball but so worth it in the end. The story is also told in dual POV, it's also a stand alone. This story was about friendship, love, normal everyday things, no BS, no alphas. This was my first book by Beth Michele and it won't be my last.Dylan and Evie have been the best of friends since childhood, they have been there for each other through everything. Each have lost family members, all though in a different way for one another. Through all of this they both have been a constant in each others lives, also in Evie's life she has her sister, and Dylan his brother. The two of them share everything together and they never keep secrets from one another, funny thing is that they both are hiding something from one another, they are both in love with each other, both are afraid to express those feelings in fear that the other does not feel the same way.Dylan has been in love with Evie since he was little, it's always been Evie for him and no one else. He's been battling these feelings for years. Dylan is also battling some demons of his own, his father treated him like shit and his mother barley paid attention to him. If it weren't for Evie, his brother, and grandma he wouldn't have anyone he could rely on in his life, because of them Dylan was able to overcome some of the demons and move past it and become a beautiful man. By no means did he let the situation with his parents define him nope he rose above it. Dylan was the type of guy to tell it like it was and wore his heart on his sleeve, but at times he showed his possessive side."You make me glad that I was born."Evie was beautiful, strong, very stubborn, different than Dylan, total opposite of Dylan but it worked for them. Evie's had heartbreak in her own life she still carries the emotional scars with her everyday, but she doesn't let that define her. She wants to tell Dylan how she feels but is afraid, she would rather have him in her life as a friend than nothing at all. "Sometimes life doesn't give us a second chance."Dylan has finally been convinced by his brother and grandma that it's time to tell Evie how he really feels about her, once he does express his feelings he's completely shocked when Evie shares with him that she has the same feelings for him. What was once a friendship has now turned to a beautiful romantic relationship. But once again fate intervenes in there lives, another tragedy strikes that will put their love through a test. Will they both be able to over come it and move on to the happy ending they deserve? Or will this be the end of a friendship/love affair?"Your smile is like the sun, your eyes are like the ocean, your heart is my safe place."

Rating: 3.5“That’s not the kind of love you push away.

What an amazing story of two friends paving their path to forever. This book is filled with beautiful words that will take your breath away!! Loved it...Full review to come :)Full Review :)This is my 5 star review for For the Love of Raindrops by Beth Michelle for Eskimo Princess Book Reviews.Ohh where to start. First and foremost I would like to say that I have read and have absolutely loved the three Beth Michelle books that I have read so far. Beth has a way of getting me all wrapped up in the story that I forget about all of my other obligations. I only want to think, live and feel what her characters are feeling, way to go Beth, PLEASE keep them coming!!!For the Love of Raindrops drew me in and had me flipping the pages way up into the night. I didn’t want to stop, even for a few hours of sleep. Dylan, oh my gosh what can I say other that holy SWOON….that man had my heart melting and my soul bleeding. He was such a great leading male, getting inside of his sweet head was a privilege to say the least. I wanted to reach through my kindle and give him a big hug and tell him that he was amazing and special, and absolutely AWESOME. His words….oh his words…let’s just say that he had a way with words. They made me a puddle of mush, lol. Oh and his romantic side….there just isn’t enough words for me to use to get you to understand just how romantic Dylan really is…..can we say Best Book Boyfriend material!!Evie, she was a strong leading lady but she had some battles that she had to work through. Without giving any spoilers away it is hard to say just much Evie had to go through. I believe that her story needs to be read in order to be understood. She lived, laughed, loved but was it ever enough? Was she able to overcome the one thing that no one could see coming? Was she able to put her feelings aside to see the bigger picture? Did she learn to really truly live? For the Love of Raindrops is an amazing story of friends that become so much more. The writing is excellent and the story line is heartbreaking and real. The only downfall I have is I wanted more. I loved the side characters and would love to know more of their stories as well (hint, hint). If you are looking for a great romance with a romantic hero with a heart of gold, this one is for you!!

Dylan and Evie have been best friends since they were kids. They found comfort in each other through the hardest moments in their young lives and have been a comfort and confidant to each other. One thing Dylan is completely sure of and Evie has been in denial of is that they love each other. And even though their love is strong, is not enough to erase Dylan's insecurities and how he sees himself thanks to his drunk of a father, or make Evie's fears of losing the ones she has in her life due to the loss she suffered a few years back. But love is also a powerful thing and when two souls are meant to be, there is nothing that will stand in their way. This is an incredibly sweet story. The way Beth builds the friendship to lovers journey is breathtakingly beautiful. Both Dylan and Evie have their moments of doubts and set backs while working on the courage to come out clean with their feelings towards each other, but these are young adults who are still trying to figure out the paths of life. The fluidity of the story will make you read for hours not realizing how much time has passed, and the amazing cast of characters will bring you to tears, make you laugh, and bring you to your knees with the love and respect they have for each other, secondary characters complementing the main ones perfectly.Every word that was used to create a sentence, a paragraph, is like a skillful dancer choreographing a stunning dance. The words pull at your heartstrings and you feel the character's pain as well as their joy. There's a rawness in their story, an innocence that you don't find very often these days. This is the kind of story that stays with you for day and makes it hard to get into another book. Beth Michele will tear your heart apart but slowly and sweetly will put it back together.Highly recommended!!!

Ahh, well here we are again! Another (amazing) book that was kindly given to me to read and review.I must say, I always wonder if Beth can top the last book she wrote and then she graces everyone with yet another amazingly written, captivating story. She has a way with words that is so delicate and beautiful. Her characters are ones that you can't help but fall in love with.In this story, For the Love of Raindrops there is Evie (Hopper) & Dylan (Dills), they have been Best Friends for forever. Always there for each other no matter what. Until something happens and all the strength, trust and love is put to the ultimate test. People are pushed to their breaking and unsure if they can ever come back from that point. Sometimes you have to ask yourself...Is it easier to walk away or to stay and fight? Is there really a love so unbreakable and deep that nothing could ever break through? This story will make you laugh, it will definitely have you shedding some tears and it will for sure have you wondering, hoping and praying.I have been blessed with being able to read Beth's stories before they release (thank you love) and I must say she seems to never fail, she always delivers such an amazing book and I am thankful to be a part of such a wonderful journey. Thank you, Beth, for allowing me to have the opportunity to have all of these characters in my reading world. They are for sure ones I will always remember and never forget. And thank you for another sensational story! love love love! "Forever, right, Dills?""Forever, Evie.""Your smile is like the sunyour eyes are like the oceanyour heart is my safe place"
